And now this.....
So everytime I come up with something, you guys are the ones to save the day and I thank you for that.
Here it is, another problem has arose and now I depend on you for help once again. I just did an oil change like 200 miles or so ago. Now I have this (to me) god awful oil leak. I only say that because I'm in love with my first Rotary and don't want to see my car hurt.
The oil leak looks like it is coming from the bottom of the oil filter, but I don't think it is. I think that it might be coming from the oil pressure sensor just below. Somewhere around there is the leak. I was just wondering if maybe this might be a common problem on FC's and someone could explain the most probable cause.
Thanx again guys.....

if it came on right after you did the oil change then i would guess the filter gasket is the issue, maybe not tight or the seal got double gasketted or the seal is damaged somehow.
the senders can sometimes leak but that is rather rare.
the rear iron can crack on high output engines and leak from that area also but if your car is not putting out over 300RWHP i would tend to rule this out.
the only other thing down in that area that holds oil is the rear oil cooler line feed, make sure the banjo bolt is tight and the crush washer is not split or damaged visibly.

I don't know how to judge this leak, it's roughly just a spot the size of a soft ball......
That's letting the car sit overnight too, and it's not to much oil, but it's enough to upset me.

Soak the area down with brake cleaner to remove any oil from the block and pan. Now start the car and let it idle while you look at the area carefully with a flashlight. You should be able to find the leak easily.
It's going to be the oil filter gasket, or the o-rings between the filter pedistole and engine if it's coming from high in the block. If it's lower, the pressure sender or the oil cooler line.
