pfft, since you guys feel like trying to see whos car was cheaper i think i got ya beat.

got this '88 SE for free from a guy who was gonna junk it




did a little work and converted it into my daily driver for under $100 invested.

I once found the exact same thing for $350, except the body & interior was garbage and the engine was simply awesome. Crashed it, sold it for $175 to a guy who had a shell like you.

IMO, yours will be the only kind of ~$1000 RX-7 worth getting. Nice find.

$450 TII. Came with everything cept the coilovers, rims, engine & exhaust, radiator, and tail lights.





Plus my $500 sport daily driver, barely hitting 103k miles so far now:
