not starting, not even turning

not starting, not even turning

so the other day my alrnator belt snapped, i drove the car home, 5 min away it overheated alot.


but started fine .


now today a week later, im not getting any power at all, my battery reads ok, but nothing works, not any interior lights, hazards nothing, no sounds then i turn the key, nothing

how much did it overheat?

Check all your fuses, more than lickly you've got a blown fuse somewhere.

well within like 30 secs of the belt snapping it was like full on the temp guage.

and ye the main fuse under the hood i cant get out lol and the fuse box thats to be by my feet, i cant even find

the id that had it before me was such a ****** idiot

well technically its my winter car so if its dead its dead, its not like i dont have a 94 supra tt for summer anyhow

If you overheated it, consider it a done deal... You break the belt running the water pump, you're supposed to immediately shut the car off until you get a new belt... Congrats looks like you're gonna be driving a Poopra all summer...

the power wire to my stereo was stripped by one of the belts somehoe, and my friend thinks that that touching metal could have killed the main fuse ????

I bet you blew the main fuse... Switch it and hope like hell it didn't fry anything before it got to the fuse... And since you overheated it, I wouldn't have high expectations of it running again... Coolant seals are probably toast...
