Nos?

I'm wondering how much NOS can you use in an 87 rx-7 with 160 miles. I was told mey engine was rebuilt by one of the previous owners but I'm still not sure but if I have a good compression ratio how much NOS will suit my car best.

instead of everyone answering this question, it would be nice if you just did a search because we just answered this question.

I will answer this:

If you are not positive that your engine is in good shape then your car can handle NONE, ZERO. You need to get a compression test then go from there. Get your car as close to 100% as possible, then go for a 50 wet shot.

if you have good compression, on a turbo II w/ a 50 shot, you could easily see up to 60 RWHP. Just make sure your fuel is up to par. being Fuel pump first and the bigger injectors. It's a great upgrade for the dollar. Do your baisc mods first, and you'll see really good results. Good luck ....

Wet shot seems like a safer way not to lean out. With a 50 wet shot or so you won't have to upgrade the injectors or fuel pump. Contact fc3s.org on here.

wet dumps fuel as well as NOS. Dry only dumps NOS

Right, a wet shot of N2O will add both Nitrous Oxide and more fuel into the engine, so it makes it safer for the engine. A dry shot will only send Nitrous, and is a little bit tougher to tune and a little more dangerous if not tuned correctly.

www.JimWolfTechnologies.com sells aftermarket computers that incorporate two modes: one being for spirited driving, the other being for the same but with NOS. It's set for a dry system and the injectors compensate the extra fuel needed. It's really nice and with the flip of a switch you can turn everything on. I wish someone made something like that for our cars.

Direct port would B a bit hard to tune even with an AFC you would need more flexibility, so something such as a wolf 3D or Haltech would have to be used.
