Is it normal to bog when getting back on the gas?

ok, sometimes if I let of the gas due to road conditions....or whatever, then get back on it it bogs and I have to let off then back on and it's fine. Any dea why?

It's mostly in 2nd gear. I'm pretty sure it's not my diff, mounts since there is no clunking coming from the back. The engine revs great and pulls strong. So is it normal to bog down like that sometimes? It's usually aroun 1.5-2k rpms it does this. And no I'm not trying to floor it.

you might want to check the AFM this is the same problem ive been fighting on the 89 vert my sister just bought ive replaced the TPS,oil metering pump and did a complete tune up still did not help i pulled the AFM off and it had a rattling sound to it i tested it and it tested bad i hope this is the fix its driving me crazy not knowing what it is and driving her crazy cause shes had it for going on 3 months and hast been able to drive it my 88 AFM is also bad but it runs lean and has like a drag to it that is a good suggestion though about the pressure sensor mazdaspeed ive never thought about testing that i have 91 intakes on mine and had the pressure sensor tested and it tested right at max so i will have to check that out thanks mazdaspeed

If your car is on the very rich side at idle, it will bog when you floor it.

Probably that stupid TB mod. I did that **** to my car, and it was a waste of time. Now I get to freeze my *** off warming it up in the morning. Might as well have a carb with no choke.....
