i know that when i start the car it revs @ 3000rpm for a bit till that thermowax stuff melts...but in my car it drops to 1500rpm and stays there for a bit. it then VERY slowly creeps down to below 1000rpm. it seems like it's just still warming up cuz when i drive it for a bit the idle is back to normal. is this a potential problem?

very normal in fact i have the throttle body mod and it actually drops a little faster than you but that is expected and it hangs around 1k until its completely warmed up and it goes down to 750
