noob to rotary...please help
ok i just bought a 13b 6 port engine that has been street-ported....he said it was from a second gen that he swapped in a first and had it carburated.....now i would like to get a second gen and just drop it right in.........but he said that i would have to carburate it.......WHY i was fine with carburating it until i seen him taking all the coil packs off and with an olmhs meter, rewireing the dizzy.....is there any way i can leave it with coil packs and carburated or can i just use the fuel injection?????....anyone got any ideals??

Um, what exactly is your question?
If the engine was installed in a 1st gen, then it's going to have the GSL-SE oil pan installed, and either an earlier 12A or 13B front cover. You'll need to swap the 2nd gen pan back on, and use the 2nd gen front cover.
As for the carburetor or EFI question, there's no reason you can't use the 2nd gen EFI system.
