No Spark

ok so i decided to run carb on my 88, the carb is an Edelbrock 650 double pumper, but after taking the fuel injection off I have no spark from any of the spark plugs. Is there a mod that I need to do to get spark? Or a wire I need to hook up?
Thank you for your help.
