on my 86 sport I have noticed that my rpm (red line) beep only sounds some times.
Not every time I red line it sounds. In fact is most of the times it doesn't.
I don't have any idea of what it can be, can you guys point me in the right direction.

 

Sounds like it could be a bad solder point on the cluster's circuit board.

learn when to shift without beeper..engine noise works best become familur with her. if beeper going off your a touch to late everytime

 

My beeper doesn't work at all.
