No pressure in fuel lines when car is off

My car starts up really bad in the morning and when I let it sit for a while. I dont have cold start on there but before it used to start up great without it even in the cold. Now for some reason I dont have fuel pressure in the fuel lines when I take them off. Before it used to spray out when I took off fuel rail now there is nothing but air in there. So when I start it up after it sits it takes a while to crank to get the gas in there and then it dies right away since the gas is going through the rail with a lot of air still in there. So I cant find the problem and thought maybe you guys could help me out.

thanks

It could be your fuel pressure regulator.Or a check valve somewhere.

I just replaced the fuel pressure regulator and its still the same... its the thing on the secondary fuel rail that has a vacuum hose going to it right?

Where are there check valves and how do I check them?

The check valves are loated in the fuel pump itself I believe. But before changingyour fuel pump, check for leaks.also when you remove the cover over your fuelpump check it for leaks.cover all the basics.
