No Power steering or Speedometer after replacing heater hose.
I just replaced the heater hose on my 87TII, and now I have no Speedo or power steering. The strange thing is that I have power steering for about 2-3 minutes, then I hear the PS alarm and PS stops working. If I turn the engine off, then turn it back on, the PS works again for a few minutes, then I get the alarm and PS dies. The speedo doesn't do the same thing, it just doesn't work at all. I'm sure I've disconnected something.
I've read that if the Speedo stops working, that the PS will also stop working, is this correct.
I need to get this fixed by tonight.
HELP!

You've disconnected the Speedo cable.
Either end can come loose. One end goes to the trani, and screws in place. It is easy to check from under the car. Chances are though, that you've pulled it out of the instrument cluster - it is easy to do!
The cable goes through the fire wall right beside the hose you were changing! When you are in the car it is right above your right foot. Look under the hood at the fire wall, and you'll see it. It's a black cable that is pretty stiff.
Once you have determined that it is still screwed into the trani, you will need to get behind the dash.
Tools: Phillips head screw drivers: One stubby one, and one regular one.
You will need to remove the "hood" around the instrument cluster, and unscrew the cluster its self. The cable attaches with a white plastic clip that is pretty fragile - you turn it to lock it. Push the cable back into position, and lock the plastic clip in place. It is tricky - but quite easy.
Lemme know if you need help - I can give you a hand if you need one.

Thanks to Nick86 for coming over and reattaching the speedo cable for me. I never would have thought of holding the guage cluster at that angle.
Needless to say, speedometer now works, and the power steering is also working just fine.
Without knowing for sure, it seems that if the PS cpu detects no speed (from the speedo), it turns itself off.
Maybe someone can confirm this?
