NO power, electrical help?
I was driving my car today, 87 na turbo II swap. it just shut off.
I tried jumping it off, did not work. the battery is fine.
looked at the fuse/relays. The headlights will go up and down and work fine but nothing else has power. I dont hear the fuel pump working, no power to the sun-roof, and electric fan.
when I try to start it nothing. I dont know much about these cars. What could this be????

just changed the main fuse, checked all the others, looked at the fuses inside. all seem ok. still no start
All the lights still have power. the go up-and down and funtion normaly. atil lights also.
IT seems that everthing the key controls dosnt have power. Electric fan, pump and stater, and the sunroof has no power

sounds like a fuse problem, try double checking everything again. Also, check to see if one of the grounding got lose.
Was it running fine before this incident?
Good luck!

the ignition switch would have these symptoms and explain why it died when you were driving it. you can do a continuity check on that with a multimeter while opperating it.
if it checks good and ALL your fuses are good then I would say this sounds a lot like a broken wire leading to your (or a bad) starter solenoid. your lights run directly off the battery, thats why they still work. everything else (mainly the stuff lacking power right now) runs through the starter solenoid (and is also controlled by your ignition switch). see if your 12vdc is getting to the starter, check your grounds, and check all the connections there for security and corrosion.
last time this happened to me it was a broken wire at the starter though. but it didnt die on me while driving either
I cant say for sure, but you may be able to have your starter tested at an auto parts store. but I'll bet you're going to have to pull it out and bring it to them (I'd call first)
good luck man.

The ignition switch is fed power by a single BLACK wire from the engine bay fuse box. Look at the connectors for the ignition switch. They're located about a half foot from the ignition switch. One of the connectors has this single black wire. See if you have batt voltage on it or not.
No voltage? Then look below the engine bay fuse box. About three or four inches below the engine bay fuse box is a single connector. See if it's apart or not.. It feeds the ignition switch power.
A symptom of that ignition switch feed wire being open is.........headlights work and go up down but no interior lights. Like no idiot warning lights when the key is to ON.
See the free online wiring diagrams.
