Both coil packs are not getting any power, however other systems seem to be working fine. I got both coil packs from different vendors, which makes it seem weird that both packs wouldn’t be working. Given the car was a shell, i put a “new” stock wiring harness in along with ecu. Ignition switch has also been replaced as well as all the fuses. Got new plugs and wires too. I am just at a loss as to what could be causing this problem.

 

Have you checked for power at the ecu?
Power at the coils?

 

Ecu is getting power, both coils are not

 

Have you tried to fetch any codes? S4 or S5?

 

Check for power at the injectors. Check under hood fuses.

 

Ok so bit of an update. Both coils are in fact getring power, however just 0.4 v gonna open up the loom and trace the wiring to see if i can find anything along there. Ecu is getting power, all fuses are new

 

Check continuity on the wire before you open the loom.
