Having issues with Coils not sparking.
So I recently purchased a 1988 FC convertible project and am trying to troubleshoot a no start issue. Since I've started working on it i have checked and made sure that the coils have power, the part of the ecu that controls the coils has power, and that the CAS is good.
After checking all of this, still no spark to the coil. The engine turns over fine and all the electronics work fine but the coil is still not firing.
My question is my next step in troubleshooting this issue? My thought is that the problem exists somewhere in the wiring between the CAS and the ECU. I have been all through the forums looking for an answer and figured i'd just make a post and hope for the best. Thanks for you're help!

yeah just generally if the ecu has power, and you give it an rpm signal from the CAS it will have spark.
