No oil pressure on stock gauge

I was just on my way home from work and I was looking at my oil pressure gauge as i was shifting and it seemed normal, then when i looked a feww minutes later it was at 0, Itook it home and now it won't budge. Any advice would be appreciated. Could it just be an electrical problem?
Also I just had an oil change 4 days ago.

Check the connector on the oil pressure sender, it's right below the oil filter. It should be a white rectangular plug with a yellow/red wire.

Also what are signs that i have no oil pressure (if the gauge is right) Temp gauge would be way up? Sound of engine abnormal? Funky smell?

Start the car, and tap on the pressure sender unit with a screwdriver. Any changes in the readings?

We're assuming here that you've checked the level via the dipstick...

okay i just tapped the connector and voila the oil pressure gauge worked thnx for your help, but if it reads zero again does that mean that its not getting oil, or the gauge isn't working properly
