Question Power Antenna?

My power antenna will not go up, I've had the 7 for about 3 months, it never worked when i baught it off the guy, the original owner put a panasonic radio in and i'm thinking he might of disrupted the connection to the power or something, but i know the antenna is hooked to the stereo cause when i touch it the reception is better, what do u think it could be.

when you have a aftermarket radio you need a switch i forget what kind but it reverses the current going to the antenna so then it will go up and down i think they are around 3-5$ at radio shack

The antenna wiring must be changed from the stock head unit's switched-ground activation to the aftermarket head unit's switched-power activation. It's very easy to do, all you need is a relay. Wire it up like this:
