NO NO not smoke why me?

ok heres the deal
i was driving back from getting some food at dennys with some friends, they were behind me and said they saw some serious black smoke like coal dust for about 50 yards from the parking lot comming out of my exaust. i checked all my fluids and all were fine, no consumption of oil or coolant. could it be a massive ammount of carbon buildup that came loose?
anyone think a sacrifice of 100 first gens would help?

any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

Zack

Sacrifice a 100 1st gens???? Wait a minute. I have a GSL-SE and a 2nd gen and i won't even talk about the reliability issue. All I can say is sacrifice your 2nd gen.

Sounds like running rich or an oil leak somewhere. If it doesn't happen often, it's probably just an occasional leak. Pull the plugs to see if they are sooty, that should tell you if you are running overly rich. Otherwise, an A/F meter can also tell you if you are running rich.

From what you have described, it sounds like you are running very rich. I have to agree with checking the plugs to see the color. That will tell you a lot.
