No highbeams!

My highbeams have gone out . My lows and flashers work. when my flashers do come on i think they are only the lows because the highbeam light in the instrument panel doesn't come on. I know that on the first gens the switch has a module that can be changed. I was wondering if the 2nd gen has a similar set up or if I have to buy the whole turn signal and cruise switch?

there is a blue relay in the front ( by the washer bottle ) - this controls you high/low beam

you can run a 12v wire from the battery and put it on various points on this relay - this will tell you if the lights are working OK

if not then you might just need the indicator stalk ( which does full beam ) as this controls the dip/full side of the lights

im having real probs with lights on my 91 vert and have prob spent 20 hrs so far on them

have a read of this - it might make sense then : http://www.mazdarotaryclub.com/forum...ad.php?t=32221
