no flamage
my TII shoots some nice ones, I was messin around in a parking lot trying to get it to shoot them last night and I got a set out of the duals that actually went high enough to join the ends of the flames together...my buddy with a N/A can't get his to shoot fire at all even with one cat and an open exhaust...

If you're refering to a line lock on the front brake lines... well no, thats a drag thing too...
If you have wide *** tires on a car that has aroudn 200hp, and all you want is a 1/4 time for your class, you need somethign to get your tires warmed up... a line lock will do it.

Only thing is it shouldn't have been doing that. It was either running ungodly rich to be throwing those flames at idle, or something was wrong.
Didn't it crap out on him pretty soon after he put it in? Did he ever find out what happened to it? Or am I thinking of someone else, can't remember.

the reason i asked is because my car has an safc2 and walbro .. i think its running so damn rich thats i cant bark flames on purpose i get them rarely just out of the blue. i have a ,ystery brand 2.5 dp to 2.5 duals so she can breath i dont have any emmisions i just think its a lil wierd to get no flames thats all. i can rev till i cant stand it anymore and get no flames and get nothing but the smell of gas.

Yuuzo: It's not a good thing. It's not sopposed to happen because for one the fuel is burning too rich. The turbo is also causing that. Overall, it's not a good thing. It looks cool but it's something we don't try to do.
Yuuzo's right. It looks cool. My 10AE is running so rich I can smell the fumes inside and friends complain about the fumes when following behind me. If I weren't shifting at about 3k to break in the new motor it'd be spitting flames constantly. Friends have seen flames just burning in the tail pipes not spitting out quite yet because I was just cruising. I'm running 3inch turbo back exhaust and custom intake with K and N filterported wastegate and some other blah blah blah.
Good luck, but don't blow your sweet 13b trying to look cool.

Never known anyone to "blow up" their 13B/T by shooting flames, either.
That being said, my TII shoots 'em pretty consistantly....
