No brake pressure

I removed the air pump, bracket and belt all that is left is the hose that ran to the air pump. Backed the car out of my driveway and no brake pressure (feels like there is a lot of air in the system). The reservoir is full and no signs of external leaks. I'm leaning towards the brake booster. Brakes worked fine before I took the air pump off. Are the two tied in together? Anybody have any ideas? Reted??

Did you remove the line that goes from the booster to the lower intake manifold?

Good chance you did.

Wouldn't that make it HARDER to push in the brake, not make it lose pressure?

And no, the airpump is in NO way related to your brake system.

Exactly, it would make it harder.. Sorry, didn't read his original post fully. Id' still check it, in case his description wasn't quite accurate.

This is exactly what I did. First took the AFM off. Then disconnected the stock air bypass valve (blow off valve) and the line right under it (it has a check valve) from the stock turbo inlet duct. I couldn't get the end of the inlet duct off the turbo with my small screwdriver so I took the air pump off with the brackets and cut the belt. There was a hose connected to the air pump which I disconnected from the pump. With the pump off I was able to get the inleft duct off and fix the hose on the turbo (think its for the wastegate). Anyways I put everything back except for the air pump. So the hose that was connected to the pump is just sitting there. Backing out of the driveway, I tried to stop and the pedal goes to the floor. Feels like when you do a brake job and forget to pump the brakes. Well if you pump the brakes it will get hard but take your foot off and step on it again the pedal goes to the floor.
