Newbie needs help
Well i just bought a 1990 rx7 s5 today. I got a wierd problem when after the car warms up for about 10 minutes or so it just dies. The rpms drop below 500 and then it stalls. Does anyone know what causes this and how can I fix it?
Thanks in advance

I get no codes, but i dunno the person that had it before messed it all up because there is disconected wires
Can ya take a pic where they are disconnected?
Also does it just shoot down? if you give it alil gas can you keep it at 1K< try for 800/700 ish with your foot on the gas, if it dies then I'd presume one of the wires are to blame or vaccum leak.
If not then maybe your throttle cable/idle is out of wack.

what is the idle like? Is it rough and uneven? Cause it sounds like you might have a vac leak. Once its fully warmed up and the idle drops all the way down it dies. Mine was like that too. I had to keep my foot an the gas a bit at stop lights to keep it from dying once it was fully warmed up.
just adjust the screw on top of your TB (covered by a little rubber cap). use something flat to twist it till you get your desired idle. i bet you that your screw is all the way tight, loosen it up a little.
well the idle is wierd now sometimes it will stay at aroun 500-700 but other times it will just drop...
Now someother problems that I have are:
the headlights wont go up... and
no interior lights work

yeah those 2 four are disconnected on my 88 also. You need tou check the wire harness look in a haynes manual cuz those light and stuff are connected so you can find the source I had a problem with the electrical on mine and the idle. MIne blew a rear inner O-ring so thats y mine wouldn't idle
