Newb Brake Question

Do I have Single Piston Calipers or Four Piston Calipers? I have a 1990 GXL.

I asked this question because im ordering HPS brake pads. thanks

According to the sticky link at the top of this section, titled "What did my Rx-7 come with, Specs...." https://www.rx7club.com/2nd-generation-specific-1986-1992-17/specifications-what-did-2nd-generation-rx-7-come-w-options-standard-features-249616/ (located <--- Here), it did.

Edit: look on the second page for 1990, under "mechanical features": Ventilated Front disks with 4-Piston calipers and entilated Rear discs: It lists it as a GXL "standard feature"

That's four piston up front and single piston in the back. Don't order 4, 4 piston brake pads.

Ok so

2 four piston brake pads up front
2 single piston brake pads - rear

I was looking at the brake pads

Does a box come with two pads? Also the rear doesn't say single or four piston...is it default single? theres a double piston too

the default for the rears are singles.
if you cant figure it out, look are your own car. take off the front wheel and you will see MAZDA formed on the outer face of the caliper, those are four pistons.
