new motor.. sounds sickly *vid* advice help?
I just got my new motor running and it seems sickly.. I know i'm getting spark on L1 & L2 and i should be getting fuel since right before i got it started *(had problems) i could smell fuel/had fuel on plugs.

best i can do by myself using my digi to record it..
I almost think my rear rotor isn't firing. or it's just been so long I don't know if the car is suppose to sound like this (new exhaust so that isn't helping).
I've only had the car running for say 5 minutes total between starting checking and then shutting down.. (being by yourself makes it kinda rough)
I did take a quick chance and checked my CEL and i'm getting Code 13. I don't see why i'm getting that since all that worked fine before I swapped motors..

No it is not. However, it is a rebuild from kevin. I seriously doubt there is anything wrong with the motor. Just make sure it doesnt get hot and put some milage on it. Have you emailed kevin about this yet?

their we go..
i'm not doubting my motor what so ever.. It's more so of the could i have screwed something up wiring wise when replacing the motor.. i just don't want to run it and find out that I caused damage that wouldn't have happened if i wasn't stoopid

Oh yeah, I wasnt intending kevin messed something up. Hes just pretty knowledgable and might have some clue to what the problem might be. But I think hell say the same thing I did

1. Are yoru spark plug wires backwards?
2. Injectors all pluged in correctly?
3. Is your timing off?
Follow the step by step manual procedures to tune it.
i hope the compression is ok. Even though it is new!
good luck.
