Ok, first let ME ask YOU... why? If you are planning on over 220 hp, ok I understand. Otherwise, it is heavier, more expensive, and it's a lot of work.
You have to do the whole drivetrain at once- you can't do the diff now and tranny later or vice-versa, unless you have a custom driveshaft made. So, essentially, it's all or nothing.
How to do the swap: (yes, I did this already.)
For the differential, I recommend you get the ENTIRE rear subframe assembly and swap it. I'm not going to go into detail as to how, it's simple... a LOT easier than trying to do it in pieces.
The transmission uses a different clutch, with a larger diameter. You will have to swap the clutch, pressure plate, flywheel, starter, and clutch slave cylinder. You will also have to make some longer wires for the wiring harness to the transmission (neutral switch, indicator for the "shift up" light, etc.) I'm not sure about the crossmember, I suggest using the TII one. I did, didn't even try the other one.
I also suggest getting both the front AND rear swaybar from the TII. They are heavier, and you don't want just a heavier rear bar- the car will oversteer if you do that.
No cutting or custom stuff, unless you call making 4 wire extensions using a crimp connector "custom stuff." It all bolts right in. The flywheel is a major PITA to swap though.
I suggest doing a search for more details, this gets rehashed on here frequently!
