Am I crazy? I like my maroon interior. It was getting greenish, so I bought good looking maroon carpet off of some local guy. Anybody have maroon parts they're giving away? I need a center console/armrest thingy, but only if it's dirty cheap (I'm doing fine without it).

black would not be good for me:
florida+no a/c+black interior=death
plus my exterior is gold, and my interior is maroon, and I live in a town obsessed with FSU, garnet and gold are the school colors

I personally hate maroon/red interiors..no offense or anything. There is a S4 GXL in my local junkyard with a really nice maroon interior if you want any parts, even a very nice set of red leather seats.

sounds cool, but leather is another thing that's not good to have with florida heat and no a/c

That black interior is very nice. Is it possible to spray down your bash while it's still mounted in the car? I imagine you'd have ALOT of masking to do.

Probably possible, but I honestly dont like that interior dye stuff. Yes, Ive seen it done and it looks great, but it isnt very practical in the sense that it can wear off, or if it is scratched it can come off.

I've used a fair deal on platic computer parts and my mouse and it's never worn off, but it can cure odd and leave little "veins" sometimes. I guess you're right about the wear though. I have to remember that this is going to be sitting in the sun.

I just painted my dash black w/ the new Krylon Fusion black... I have to admit, it looks pretty dang good.

I just did it, so no idea how long it will last in my 'vert. Honestly though, at the cost per can, I'm willing to do some touchups occasionally and keep it looking brand new. I had no problems with curing.
