Looks great man! I remember when all that was out on mine however I had to take the dash out to get the carpet out, how did you do it? Also you wouldn't happen to be selling the rx7 mats in your second pic would you? Thanks.

No I didnt remove the dash, I just cut around it. You cant tell, unless you lay on the floor and look up on top of the tranny tunnel. Removing the dash is a pain, I just didnt want to do that. As far as if Im selling the mats, no sorry.
ok, thought I would ask
yeah that was one of the hardest parts about my restore was taking that damn thing out. If I would have to do it again I would cut around like you did.

I had a '89 GTU at my local junkyard I pulled everything from. Here are some pics of the cargo coverI just got in:

I need to figure out how the front edge of the hatch cover is attached

Wouldnt happen to have a set of these, would you Kevin?
When I get my interior complete, I'll take some pics. In the mean time, does anyone have any blue interior pics? Esp. vert pics!? I forgot to get "BEFORE" pics! *doh*
Anyway, I've dyed my carpet black and used the plastic paint and vinyl paint on everything else. I'm honestly amazed at how good it looks. I'll do a full write-up when it's done, but I've essentially removed every trim piece I could and dyed/painted it. Not bad for less than $50 total invested in the car wash wand, paint, and dye.
