Don't listen to that he say she say bullshit.

Who told you to just use bolt ons and nitrous?

Sounds like an easy way out to me.

Is it someone that owns or has worked with rotaries b4?

If you really want to make a turbo engine out of a n/a it's possible.

Icemark, you need to add 12A to that list.

If you want turbo, then there are no bolt on turbo upgrades for the na. It is possible to fab a turbo set-up yourself but not generally recomended. There is a ton of information on how to swap a 13bt in for a 13b, swapping the tranny and rear end is also a good call when doing a swap as they are not the same.

If you are comfortable with nitrous than that is probably easier than trying to do a custom turbo, but harder than a 13bt swap. You will need a better fuel pump, bigger injectors, and a standalone to tune it. Also you would want a pretty beefy exhaust for flow. Tuning would of course be vital if you want it to last.

In my opinion the rx7 is wasted on the drag strip anyway you go. If your upgrading a stock rx7 then start with the basics... intake, exhaust, clutch, struts, bushings if needed, wheels are all great upgrades for the rx7 that i would insist on having before i even thought about boosting an NA.

You didn't read this:

I will close this thread if you don't start reading. Your questions show that you are ignoring the basic tools to help you.

There is a whole section on engine a performance upgrades including Turbos.

yeah, keep it na... NAs rule... they are daily drivable, reliable(to an extent...) and just plan fun...
imo rotaries are USLESS on a dragstrip Unless you have Loads of money(or unless you are Speedmachine lol) and the car would be FAR from Daily drivable...

if your looking to power an NA, talk to karen... but still have loads of money anyway, for mods and then gas...
and for the love of christ... Mod the suspension and other supporting areas BEFORE declaring you Need A Turbo...

He is taking about the abbreviation list bro... It has all the other engines that came in RX7s (and Comos) on the list except the 12A.... That is why he said it was forgot. I thought the exact same thing when I looked over the list... Where's the 12A?

If you wanted a turbo rotary why didn't you just wait and get a T2? And I would listen to Icemark, but that's just me.
