New Corksport Exaust?
Hmmm....that looks like a great exaust for a 289 or so exaust. Um some questions, will it bolt right up to a bonez RP? And am I stupid or does it look like it goes out your driver side? And moreover how does ss hold up to the heat of a rotary?
How hard would it be to flip the exhaust over, so it came out the passanger side? Or hell, what's a good, reasonably priced thru-muffler? I'm wanting a passanger side exhaust, that will connect to an RB Presilencer

K, does anyone know if it would bolt directily to the Bonez RP? No muffler shops around so I need it to bolt to the Rp? I hope it does because that is a sweet deal for that kind of material.

Bump, bump, thanks for the info, I plan on giving corksport an email and see what side it comes out. I really don't like the idea of it comming out the driver side and if it does I don't know if I will still buy it or go with the Apexi N'1 single, any opinions left?

Just got a reply back from corksport. The exhaust exits out the drivers side, no other option. However they do sell the muffler for $89. The way I see it, just buy the muffler, fo to an exhaust shop and have them make you the piping. You should save some money, have it exit the side you want to, and do it for less than $400 ( probably closer to half that )
the pipe is 3" and it bolts up to the stock cat.
personally im going to be getting a thunderfabrications 3" downpipe, also designed to bolt to stock, so im thinking they will work well together. my only concern is how it sounds. i dont want one that makes my car sound really ricey.

I ordered one yesterday. On the phone they told me it was 3" except for where it connects to the cat. It is 2.5" for a few inches, but goes up to a full 3" right after that. For $289, I don't see a problem with having a 3" piece welded on in order to replace this little bit. My frontpipe is a full 3" anyway. It's a RS*R pipe that replaces both the downpipe and midpipe. All for 14,000yen.

from an e-mail
"- 3 inch piping, but necks to 2.5" where it meets the cat (like the N1 series)
- louder than the Apexi GT series (loud!!!)
- The Apexi super silencer will NOT fit the tip - he actually went out and tried it really quick

My exhaust came in yesterday. Then I'll be able to judge how loud it is. $303 shipped to my door!!! This thing looks great. I'd give it an A+ on build quality. Sure beats paying twice the price for a brand name.
