new build questions about irons/studding cant find answers

im redoing my motor cause of of my needle bearings got chewed up somehow . so i destroyed a sideseal and all my corner seal springs were like flat. so im gonna redo it again with ra super seal 2mm . its a s4 motor . im gonna send the housings out to get refinished/recoated slight scratched on them . now my question is the rear plate.. i have to find a s5 rear thicker plate which is like impossible . my goal is over 400-500 tops depending on my turbo set up but it will be over 400whp . can i get away with just s5 thicker plate and s4 everything else? i also noticed how much skinner the s4 tension bolts were compared to fd ones or s5 ones would it make a diffrence if i use fd ones since they look alot beefer . or do i need turblown stud kit . i dont wanna drill out all my plates/housings .

Lack of oil pressure maybe? Unless you're using a cheap oil filter that shouldn't been the problem.

What type of driving were u doing when it happened?

Too bad I don't still live in ri , we could build our engines together.

Yours will obviously be faster, I'm just glad I finally got a Turbo 7.

I ended up selling the old one I had for $300 with a bunch of spare turbo parts

as far as the rear iron, they aren't expensive new (around $400), so that might be a better option.

i'd run the S5/FD tension bolts, you should be able to find a set inexpensively.

the rest of the irons are pretty much the same s4 to s5.

if you do find a thick cast rear iron you shouldn't really need to pin/stud the engine.
