Neutral Safty switch-

So I think mines broken/ going out.
I can put the car in gear, and the idle drops 300-500rpm. The position of the clutch dosent matter- Example.

Car out of gear- Idling 1500

Car with shifter in gear- Idling 1000-1200.

sounds like it is working fine to me... it just senses if the car is in gear or not.

i'd like to know some info on the Neutral start switch too, i know mine must be not fuctioning because it will let me "attempt" to start without foot depressing clutch. (that is when it's parked in gear)

Read it out at the ECU, easiest way...

Should have continuity in neutral, no continuity in every other gear

https://www.rx7club.com/2nd-generation-specific-1986-1992-17/troubleshooting-your-car-ecu-340578/

Or, if you prefer to use voltage, 0v in neutral, 12v other gears...

Different switch.

The neutral safety tells the ECU and cruise if the car is in neutral or not.

The clutch lock out switch (found on 87 and later models) prevents the car from being started if the clutch is not pushed in.

Should have mentioned, it only does this some times.

The rest of the time, I put it in gear and nothing happens to the idle.
Im replacing the ecu due to a bad BAC circuit, and when I do that I will leave it pulled out to monitor the signals.
Im going to check the connections to the NSS when I get home tonight.
