OK, first of. All Second generation RX7s (second generation ranges from years 1986-1992) are dubbed the FC3S, or FC for short. So your model is an FC for sure. In 1986 they did not make a turbo model in the US, as for other places like europe or japan, im not sure. You might want to post and see if anyone has a carfax account open they will let you use and put in that vin number. Hope this helps and Welcome to the RX7 community!

i don't know what trim you rx7 is, but i can tell you that you have an n/a. at least according to the vin you provided: JM1FC331...the #1 following FC33 says that it's a non-turbo...the turbo has the #2 following FC33.
hope that helps...

Mazda was able to tell me where my car was sold, the original buyer, original buyers address, and all services done at the dealership to the car.

If somebody works at Mazda, they should be able to get that information farely easily.

I just emailed a guy I know at the local dealership. He is the one who pulled all the information on my car.

I will let you know what he tells me.

This is what I got back... he forgot to mention where it was sold. I already emailed him back to find... here what I go so far.

"The RX-7 was sold originally on 2/21/1986. The model code for this vehicle is a RX-7 GL-P2. As far as the options on this vehicle are records do not date back that far and we have no idea what options are on that specific model."

I will let you know what else he has for me.

Looks like this is a U.S. version.

"This vehicle was sold in Tennessee to someone who apparently must have been in the Military."

There ya go.. a little info for ya.
