Need your help guys.

I got an RX from an auction and im trying to rework it to a nice car cause it is almoust trashed.

So i started to work on it, re done the breaks, cleaned it, put in my sound system witch im still work in on since the rings for the speakers on the back are missing. But my other problems are much worse.

When i got it the rear main enging seal was leaqing. Got that replaced, no my clutch is out and my trowout bearing is gone and on top of that the trany is almoust gone. My six ports are jamed closed.

Now what i need help with is this: My friend was fitteling with it and i think he did something i dont know what but all the time when i drive the car beeps at me.
5 beeps and then a pause. I don't know what is wrong with it.

Second problem is that im lacking power. My Oil presure is under 30 and when i drive goes up and down. And i don't know what that is all about. It used to be at 60 all the time and have enough power now i got nothing. The corolla that i had had more power. (well ok i had a celica gt-s in it but that is a different story) . So if you guys have and adivice for me or anything that might help plz reply here or email me cause i need this thing going.

I crashed my corolla last week and i need a reliable daily driver.

Thx alot guys.

There is a thread about cleaning for 5th and 6th ports and you can also search and pull up the engine code for the beeps.

get a compression check, if that's good, get a full tune-up (filters, TPS, coolant/oil/gas/etc) unfreeze your 6 ports (big powerloss there)

Here is some beep info I found a few weeks ago:
The power steering computer has it's own error code system which will emit gentle beeps (versus louder the redline, LOW COOLANT, LOW OIL buzzer) when it encounters a problem with the power steering system.
1-beep, pause, repeat - in case abnormality of speed sensor signal:
In case broken wires or short circuits occur to sensors or harnesses, the buzzer sounds 60-seconds after the engine speed signal of 2200 rpm continues for 18-seconds.
2-beeps, pause, repeat - in case abnormality of engine speed signal:
The buzzer sounds when the vehicle speed signal is input and no engine speed signal is input (short circuit, broken wire, etc.)
3-beeps, pause, repeat - in case abnormality of stepping motor signal:
The buzzer sounds when there are broken wires or short circuits in coils or harnesses.
4-beeps, pause, repeat - in case abnormality of the power steering microcomputer:
The buzzer sounds when there are circuit troubles other than with the micro computer.
5-beeps, pause, repeat - in case abnormality of steering sensor signal:

Bill, is that also for an S4? Based on his picture he's got either a S4 GXL or Sport.

not the power steeting fluid it has something to do with the new steering wheel that i put in. I got a momo in there and the turn sirnals don't go off by themselves anymore and the beep go's away when i turn hard either right or left.

So ya still pondering that one.

Same issue over here.

Mine started with the 5, pause repeat... Then the 3, pause repeat... now it just doesn't stop beeping (1 solid beep) and there is no more power steering.

I want to remove the power steering alltogether now, I think... Just use manual.

My suggestions:

Take the wheel and hub off and clean it all out. Clean the connectors as well.

Do you know where the PS computer is?
