Need Some Opinions from Those who've done this before...
Hey guys,
Many of you have helped me with my clutch master cylinder problem I've been having.
A member on here has offered me a master cylinder for a GREAT price, but I don't have the money just yet (yada, yada).
Until then, I am thinking of rebuilding it to limp me through until next pay when I can get a brand new one.
So, here's the question(s). Does rebuilding it give me enough reliability (need 2 weeks)? What rebuild kit should I use? What's the HARDEST part of doing it? Are there any special tools you think I'll need?
Any other tips/tricks you guys have would also be great. Like I said, I'm not planning on using the rebuild kit to last forever (or whatever), just to get me through. I HATE, and never do, buying cheap parts and such because I like reliability. This just happened at a VERY bad time.
Thanks guys,
-ian

my cluctch master cylinder blew out on me as well.
it only cost me like 43.00 at lee auto parts. i say just get a new one. instead of buying a rebiuld kit taking the time to do it and then getting a new one anyway. plus no offense or anything to u but what if something goes wrong?
