Talking Need some Nitrous Install Help!!!!!!!!!

Ok guys I have a quick question. I have the ZEX WET KIT and I need to know what color is the wire inside the Throttle Position Sensor that is for WOT. I need to be sure b/c I only want the Nitrous to engage on WOT. The TPS is located right in front of the TB on my S4 Engine. It has red/black wire, a orange wire, and a green wire. So there is a total of 3 wires in the TPS and I need to know which one is for WOT. Thanks again guys
Mike

The brown/white is your 5v reference, the green/red is your output to the ECU (with a range of 1 to 3.7 volts or so), and your black is ground (runs back to the ECU to be grounded). There is no "WOT" switch-type wire that all of a sudden has power at WOT. I thought the kit had some form of mechanically actuated switch that attaches to the TB linkage to perform the WOT duties?

In any case, it must be the green/red, if anything, if the Zex computer knows that 3.7v is "WOT"...

Yeah the Zex Kit has a smartbox that reads WOT, but I thought I had to wire into a WOT wire. SO r u sure that its the green/red wire? I dont want to do the wrong thing. If anyone can help the Zex Smartbox has only 3 wires that come from it. They are red, white, and black. I assume black is ground, red goes to battery and switch and white goes to the TPS. Any help would be greatly appreciated. thanks

He has a S4.... it only reads like upto 13 percent throttle.

You'll have to put a microswitch on yourself... I remember seeing some pics one day, but it was on my hold HD... cant remember where I got them.

intresting. im gonna have to agree with wayne. u need a wot switch. u can pick one up on ebay for cheap. u install it under the accelerator pedal. and find where the wot is on it. when u push all the way down on the gas, itll go off. atleast thats how im setting my nitrous oxide system once everythings going good.

i have a prespool kit. so it has a wot and a pressure sensor. nitrous oxide only will get injected when at wot and kicks off automaticly when u hit a certain boost. basicly gets rid of any spool loss. good luck. and dont blow up your motor.
