qustion about air fuel ratio
ok after i removed my emissions i noticed that at idle i am sittind at full rich.. is this normal for after the removal of the air pump and componets?? any help is greatly appreciated
Heh.. you again.
I was going to say if you had an S4 to adjust the idle mixture.... but s5s don't have one.
Hook the BAC valve back up dude... no point really in taking it out, it simply fixes things like this...
The rat's nest, ACV, and the clunky crap on the TB is the stuff you want to remove as far as emissions... the BAC valve solves more than one problem... idle being one of them.
When you removed your emissions.... did you hook up the pressure regulator control? The vac hose that goes from the seconday fuel rail, to the solenoid, to the... well.. i dunno on a TII.. but on N/A.. the VDI/exten manifold.
Good job on the O2 wire btw...
