need some input on fmic

Okay, i have a 88tii and just put in a bnr 3 and right now, it pulls nice. now i'm wondering how much of a difference its going to make if i go to fmic. I know the tmic gets heat soaked so i took of the heat shield from it, but i get that a fmic will get more air. I'm just worried about the airflow getting to the oil cooler and my radiator. would i have to fab some kind of ducting to get air to the oil cooler and rad(oh, i have a koyo race rad)? I would rather sacrifice my power than my motor overheating, thats the only reason why i haven't done it yet. So, i would like to ask everyone what they think and solutions if you ran into these problems. If i did go fmic i would probably just get a ebay and put it together myself(don't have the money to get a greddy).

you should already definitely have a fmic with the bnr 3...a HUGE difference.

keep the advertising in a pm please.

running a front mount will make a large difference. and you dont need to worry about the oil cooler and rad just yet. when youve a bigger turbo, then you should look into some duct work.

you should be fine, especially with the koyo rad. Whole point of the fan is to pull air through the rad, so no matter what, air is going to go through it.
If you're really worried about it, go with a small fmic, like this one

Just know that people run fmic all the time without problems. Quite a common upgrade.

I went front mount and it works fine, with a koyo rad. If you are really worried about it you could consider a v mount setup

i have a stock rad and a MONSTER front mount. with my efan (from a taurus, although for a city car i recommend the stock clutch fan) my coolant temps never go above 91*C. thats wat i have it set at on my microtech.

even with the ac cooler it was still fine.
