looks like the sub-zero assist. do you have a bottle on the passenger side of the firewall, that would be where the fluid goes.

that hard line coming off should be capped shouldn't it, otherwise it's a vacuum leak?

With the vacuum source hooked up on the right-hand side, you could get a vacuum leak from the coolant hard line. The valve would have to be activated though.
