Question Need quick help on installing greddy 720s on S5 TII

Hey. I have the greddy 720s right now in front of me. I have read that I have to grind off the little tabs that stick out on the injector to fit them into my plug, but it seems like alot more to it than that.

Here are pictures to explain what I mean.

Greddy 720 injector square shape

My plug (ovalish shape)

It wont fit without shaving off alot more than the tab on the injector . Looks like I have to shave alot of the plug off.

Help quick. I'm trying to get these in right now but dont want to screw up either the plug or the injector.

I think maybe you should go to the boneyeard and steal some s-4 injector plugs cause mine are square like the injector socket you have in the picture!!! sounds like a snip and run deal to me!!!!

When I bought my Denso 720cc for secondaries from RX7.com, i also got 2 resistors and 2 CONNECTORS.
Maybe the connectors are what you need too.

Here is my thread.

Here is the RX7.com fuel page.

square = low impedence
oval = high impedence

refer to the "tech" section of www.rotaryresurrection.com for further help

You can pick up two conectors at Auto Zone--GP Sorenson part #800-9416. I couldn't find them there so I went to NAPA and found NAPA Echlin GM Connectors--part # 2-18457 that are a perfect fit. You'll need two resistors from Radio Shack--10 Ohm, 10 Watt--and solder them inline to either of the two leads between the new connector and the injector harness.

duuuuhhh. Been so long since i dorked with the stock harness that i forgot all about the difference in connectors. Actually, I did the ol' drag the injector into NAPA and get a plug thing myself when i got the 1600's!
