Arrow Need a new clutch. Which one?

I was looking into the 3-in-1 Clutch Kit at BlackDragonAuto.com but I've also seen people recommend the one at Mazdatrix.

No-one can recommend anything without knowing your setup.

A buddy of mine just installed a Duralast clutch and pressure plate in his 88 GXL, softest rx7 clutch Ive ever felt. You also may want to consider Exedy, as they were original equipment on our cars.

stock car, stock clutch. Get the exedy kit off ebay and purchase a pilot bearing seal from mazdatrix.

That link was a thread that i started. I ended up getting a used XTD clutch because i am going to go turbo setup from the tranny back. Eventually the engine will be turbo but that is when this one needs another rebuild. ?If you plan on going turbo dont go crazy on a clutch. The one you linked from ebay is what was in my car with less than 100k miles on it and was completely toast. I dont know why but i know it wasnt because of me. If you plan on an near future drivetrain swap dont go cray on a clutch. The XTD i have probably wont see more than 5000 miles at the max.

I have a 87 NA 60,000 miles... did a resurfaced FW and the ACT unsprung 6 puck and HD PP I love it. The engagement is harsh and it kinda sucks in traffic -but grabs like crazy. Once you get used to it it really is not that bad.

I have always liked ACT product.

No im not complaining i just now the PO didnt drive it hard. He was a little on he homosexual side and thought the car was "cute".

The jackstand thing is suppose to mean fastest car onto the stands. Meaning I am always doing something with it. Whether it be modding it, fixing it, or maintaining it. Its supposed to be a little joke kind of thing.

Yeah one of mine is on jack stands for modification right now. I got ya.

As for judging the performance of a clutch when most of its wear is from a PO, I don't think that fair. For all you know he may have been one of those people who ride the clutch all the time.

As for K4lic0 if the car is basically stock I would just get a stock replacement, you could go with Mazdatrix and I'm sure the quality would be high, but if it were me I would most likely go to NAPA and get one of their kits.
