Need a new check valve
I own a 1986 RX-7 GXL. It is a mostly stock S4 non-turbo.
So over the last two years, I have been working on getting the engine running again, and I am very close to getting it started. However, there is a small problem.
The previous owner for unknown reasons half-assed a catalytic converter replacement and removed the stock split air pipe. It is now just converter->pipe->ACV. It does not Y-off to the Aux Port Valves, and there is no check valve. I do not intend to remove the air pump just yet, and I would like to put a check valve back in to preserve my ACV.
So my question is, what is the part number for the ACV->Split Air check valve? Or will any generic exhaust check valve from the local Auto Parts store do? Or do I have to replace the whole split air pipe as an assembly? Unfortunately, Mazdatrix doesn't list a split air pipe for S4 N/A, would anyone have a source?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you. That should be enough to go on. But, I am curious where you found it. My parts manual is in multiple parts. The bottoms of the pages do have the Fiche grid numbers. I was looking at 1-L14 (Exhaust system w/o turbo), 1-E5 (Air pump & ACV w/o turbo), and 1-G5 through 1-I5 (Emission control system exhaust side w/o turbo).
I see that on grid 1-L14 the split air pipe is N326-20-840B. Is 840A just the check valve?
I see that there are two 1988's and one 1987 at pick n pulls near me. I wonder what the odds are that the check valves will still be good.

"is the check valve on the acv? or is it on the hose itself from the cat?"
It is the check valve on the hose itself from the cat. That's the one I am missing.

I think that is it. It has to be from an S4 N/A though. Does it have a 4mm nipple on it just downstream from the check valve? The S4 Turbos, and all S5's don't have this nipple since that nipple is for the aux port actuators. Turbos are obviously 4 port. S5 N/A's actuated their aux ports using the ACV input from the air pump, which was controlled through a solenoid valve controlled by the ECU. So only an S4 N/A will have this 4mm nipple.

I think everything here answered my questions enough. I read J5sense's build thread, so I know that came off a turbo which won't work for me. Thanks all the same.
From that excellent pic I now know that the check valve is integral to the pipe, and I have to get the whole thing.
Thanks again guys.
