need more power

i need more power in my GTU. what i want to know is, if i should swap w/ a TII or just do some major weight reduction. (strip the **** out of the car, haha). or should i just go aftermarket turbo in my current engin. my current engin has around 1000m on the engin. it was recently completely rebuilt w/ brand new internals. Any advices and/or comments?

what you need is nawws! maybe 2 bottles even! haha from what i've heard, to put a turbo kit on the six port engine is pretty tricky, not impossible, but not really simple. and a tII swap is worth more than a TII practcally, if you do it right. so your best bet is to sell yours, even if your in love, and try and find a nice turbo II all ready for you. unless ofcourse you get NAWS!

Well first off, you should break your engine in properly, before you go off doing modifications to it!

haha, yeh nos, noh man, I don't want to play with nos, great for power, but in a sanctioned race i might not be able to "push the button" haha. might over shot the corner and stright line the chacane and slam into another car.

Searh for "beefy N/a" or something like that. Or heck just go into the archives and look for it. But it is there. Many pages about MODs you can do to your N/a

Not if you can drive good. Do they really have sanctions/races that allow N02..?

Yea don't go turbo unless you have alot of patience, just work the n/a. Even that is alot of work to do properly, & it's even more work to do a TII. Oh, did I mention $$$$$ is of course an important factor. Again, how fast can you afford.

1000 miles is good milage to start with a mod or two, providing he's NOT abused it and is actually breaking it in.

noh, i don't think that NO2 is allowed in santioned races. plus i don't really want NO2. my main priority is suspension. thats what im focusing on the most. but if my car handle GREAT, and doesn't have the HP to pull out of corners, launching my corner exit speed, then there won't really be much point to all the money on suspension will be worth *****, haha, might just need some power to keep up with ppl on straight, not afraid of the corners at all.
