What to spend 5 grand on?

I have the option of selling my TII for $5k, getting the money up front, building a car, and then handing over the 7. So the question is, what route would you go with only $5k to spend?

Restoring it and fixing everything perfectly first... then not a lot of money will be left over, so I suppose exhuast and some suspension bits, that'll cover 5k easy.

I don't think you quite understood. I will be selling the FC in this senario...perhaps I will get another, but making an FC a really fast FC takes more than $5k, starting with no car. So the question is, which car/motor combination would you choose to spend $5000 on? fwd, rwd, awd, whatever...(but we all know rwd is preffered )

oh, nothing then.. 5k isn't enough to do anything worthwhile IMO, I'd keep the FC.

is your TII worth more than $5k? if you think so, then keep your car.
If you don't, sell it, buy a blown motor TII for $500 and spened $4500 on a jspec and performance parts, you'll be better off ...

Get a first gen... You can pick one up ANYWHERE for sometimes WAAAAAY' under $1000. $4000 in mods to a first gen if you know what ur doing will put a wooopin on ALOT of TII's.

You can pick up some seriously nice muscle cars for about that price. Maybe a nice Chevelle or something? Of course that wouldnt leave much money left to mod anything.. ahhh screw it, just keep the TII.
