Need model/year recommendations
I recently posted a thread asking about whether i should wait a while before getting an FD, several people recommended getting an FC first. I'm 16, and have had my license for a couple months now. I'm seriously thinking about purchasing an FC now, and am wondering what model/year is the most reliable, and overall best, since i will be using this as a daily driver atleast for the next year.

yo
damn you remind me of me
yeah man get a 1989-1991 fc non turbo
its the most reliable
and it good on gas well better than a turbo model
make sure you get it in good condition
an fd would be to much power for a youngster like your or me
plus you dont really see fc's around
but thats just me

You're not ready for an FD, and I highly doubt you could afford a nice reliable one. You'd probably either end up crashing it or it'd never run for long enough for you to crash it. IMHO you need 2 pre-requisited for owning a car like the FD, you need previous experience with a RWD sports car of decent power, and you need to be a competent mechanic with the facilities to work on the car, or you need to be able to afford a good mechanic on a regular basis. That doesn't really apply to someone like you.
Get an NA FC, they're more common, cheaper to buy and run, more reliable, and less likely to get you in trouble (read: crash). You can learn about working on cars with it and learn to drive a RWD sports car. In a few years when you're ready driving and mechanic skill wise and financially then start looking for an FD.
It doesn't really matter what year as long as it's in good condition.
