It would be helpful if your post had any sense of grammar in it. While your spelling is interpretable, it takes two or three reads to get anything out of your post due to it's lack of english.

What are you doing taking an engine out if you don't know what a thermostat is? It's the spring disc.

From what I can interpet you broke the thermostat neck of your s5 (89-91) engine. The wires going here are one of the places where the ecu checks the water temperature.

Please, buy a Haynes manual and learn some simple basics about cars/english before touching your engine(s) again.

Ps. try reading your post to yourself, pausing only when you see a period.

right on top on the back side of your intake mafinold? there is a bac (bypass air control) valve and a (aws)? vavle i think its called i dunno but if you say its black then it is that thing under the bac valve, no colant flows through that, what it does is help maintain your cars idle... someone help me out here... what is it called? its right under the bac valve and has a line going to the intake before the throttle body and a line going out to i belive the bac valve or to the back of the dynamic chamber. somebody will read this and know what its called... there a dime a dozen in the junkyard on rx7s.

would this be a turbo model? It sounds like you are talking about that part that goes from the intercooler to the top of the UIM.

first off I asked for an rx7 know it all not some little english yuppie that can only criticize my english. second off any numb nuts on here knows what a thermostat is. Third since when is the thermostat mounted on the drivers side of the intake manifold. If the only thing you can help with is english then here is a site you might be a little more suited for http://www.usingenglish.com/english_forum.html

argggg

Dude, sorry about the whole thermostat thing, but I was honestly lost in your post - nobody can help anybody if we can't communicate.

A thermostat def looks like a spring loaded plunger, which I think makes my response that I included with a picture a more than thorough estimation on your "sid" and "manafould " post. The tstat and neck are located on the passenger side of the engine which is not far from overall center and almost touching the intake manifold. That and you mentioned coolant which few of the ecu electronics (the actual problem) use. You did ask for where to buy the part from, and I answered with the possible and correct solutions.

I responded to your post in a relatively accomodating fashion including a viable answer trying to make sure I was helping you out. I would post the same thing to any member of this forum who had an extremely incoherent post except non-english speaking users ( south americans, french, germans who use online translators that I understand more than your post).

Congratulations, you can use a period!
Why not use them in all the sentences that need them other than the "grammar doesn't matter" post.
The part you needed does not require a know it all (notice all people with < 1,000 posts answered you)
You obviously haven't been here long to think that everybody knows what a thermostat is or knows that they should stick with the stock one.
