Need Interior Pics for possible project
Anyone with some good interior pictures of their RX-7, please post them..
After doing some research, I decided I am going to purchase an RX-7 in the near future.
I have this insane plan for my car..
I want to set up a Computer of sorts. After a little searching around, I know this can be done..but I am want to see some actual pics of the interior so I can see how I can accomplish this. (ie: LCD screen placement etc..)
Thanks.

You've got a double din dash (ie 2 radio receiver hole openings). That's plenty of room
There's 6 different styles of guage pods, so you're covered there (corner dash, pillar arm, mickey mouse, logicon replacement & logicon viewable, 2nd DIN slot in dash, steering wheel, steering column surround, ultra slim dash mount pods, etc..)
Were you asking about syling pics as well?

Actually, your wrong there. What I have planned wont add all that much weight...Besides, where in my post did I mention anything about having a fast car ?
Just needed some pictures of the interior...thanks for all the help guys.

I was going to do the same thing in my FD before i was forced to sell it. it is pretty easy to do except that it is almost impossible to find a double din touch screen monitor. i've been looking for 2 years and haven't found much. i was going to run the stereo, haltech (or similar), vent controls, internet access, cell phone, gps etc all through one computer and have a touchscreen to access it all. and a wireless mouse/keyboard combo just in case

Thats fairly close to what I am putting together currently..
mini ITX mobo/case
dvd drive
wireless everything
8' LCD screen
etc...
I dont really care if the screen can fit in the double din space...i figure they either have a converter of some type out their somewhere..and if not, it can be mounted in other places too...
see i dont just want an mp3 box..i wont a mobile theater..playing divx movies in my car would be pretty cool. Plus a little Quake3/Counter Strike would be fun as well...
anyways, any suggestions on LCD screen placement ?

It defeats the purpose of having a wellhandling car, putting that kind of excess weight in it, that is.
