S4 Upper Manifold

Are there any tricks to taking this off? i have taken off lots of bolts but it still will not budge, I removed the one in the middle on the drivers side two on eather side of that and the 3 for the supports am I missing something?

There are five over the LIM (four around the edge and one in the middle), as well as a nut on the end of the throttle body elbow, which mounts to the IC bracket.

Check the bolts on the rear side of the intake. Part of the rats nest bolts to the intake. its on the firewall side of the intake.

There is one 10mm bolt in the rear side of the upper manifold near where it meets the lower intake manifold. It is the most often missed bolt. I didn't put mine back in last time as it was a pain to get at.

By the way, there are 4 nuts and 1 bolt holding the upper intake to the lower intake.

I had the same problem. It was just that my gasket was holding it on. After a little pounding with a malate, and alot of pulling, it broke free. It was soo fricken stuck, I swore I forgot a bolt.
