Yes, it will still start. That is a non-essential part. All it does is smooth out the oil pressure gauge and protect it from a faulty pressure sender. The car will run the same without it.
In the driver side shocktower? Does that get terminated by a bolt through that eyesocket? Where does the connecotr plug into?Answer these questions and I think you may have a better chance of getting your car started, plus provide more details about what you have checked, what it does when you try to start it, list the mods you may have done......
I've got no idea what that is!

well all it has is full racingbeat exhaust, when i was driving it the first 45 miles i had it about 3 times it would just die while driving and i would push the clutch in and let it go and it would start back up and all the warning lights came on and stayed on, would a bad alternator cause it to not start, i mean it turns over fine just wont start

All warning lights on means the alternator isn't working for one reason or the other. Belt fall off?
Turning over and not starting wouldn't be the alternator though. Shoulda started if the fuses are all good. The EGI fuses in the engine bay and the Engine fuse in the interior.
Or it could be you ran out of gas. Or something else.

There are two of these things, and what you are describing is the other one.
On a Turbo II, it's supposed to be bolted onto the clutch slave cylinder.
The one the OP is describing is for the trailing coil pack toggle.
And everyone else is right...it doesn't matter if this is connected or not; it does not interfere with the car cranking or running.
It just minimizes any pulsing through the electrical system due to the toggle in the trailing coil pack.

Bad alternator would cause the car to die once the juice in the battery are gone. Starting a car has to do w/ the battery not the alternator. Alternator keeps the car running after starting.
if the alternator was bad the car wouldnt push start. and it would have gotten to the point where the battery was so drained it wouldnt even turn anything on. when i first got my car it was doing something similar it ended up being the ignition swith. if you have a lot of keys in the key chain this will happen eventually. i think i might still have one harness arround here somewhere let me know if you need it.
ok so i just checked the CAS and it is good both sides about about 155 ohms, all fuses good including engine bay fuses, im starting to think its the control module or the igniters, and suggestions?
