If the starter turns the engine over but it will not run then its got to be something stupid. (I don`t mean you are stupid) Keep looking under the hood around anything you touched.

the engine might be flooded. it's a commen problem. try to unplug the fuel pump relay. its attached to the steering column, facing down. i believe there are 5 wires coming from it. un hook it and turn the engine over for about 5 seconds. do that twice but dont hold it cause you can burn up the starter. then hook up the relay and turn it over again. but dont give it gas to start your engine. if the tachometer is jumping while ts turning over then its something like a vacuum leak or gas. if it doesnt jump then its electrical

No. It's probably flooded. Try making a fuel cut switch and see it starts then. Or remove the fuel pump plug and then start the car. Once it starts for a moment and dies, then reconnect the fuel pump plug.

The NORMAL remedy for a flooded RX, is to go to the engine bay fuse box. Remove the EGI fuses. The two inboard ones. Then spin the engine over for say fifteen seconds or so. Then reinstall the two fuses and go start the engiine. It should start IF it was flooded.

First you shouldn't threadjack. Secondly, I'm gonna save you some flames; did you read the FAQ for the 2nd gen RX-7?

I do this on a normal basis, but I've never removed TWO EGI fuses, only one. Maybe I should check the fuse box cover.
