I'd reckon there's a wire in that plug that is useless. So one could extract that useless wire and install it in 3F. You'd cut the useless wire back from the plug a few inches so you could splice your Ziet wire to it.
I'm not sure that's the answer. I just made that up. The RTEK manual should have said something about this problem I woulda thought.
As in remove the split air solenoid valves wire and install it into 3F. You'd cut the wire a few inches from the plug and dead end the part of the wire that goes to the split air solenoid. Then attach your Zeitronix wire to that part of the wire in 3F. Done.
Or pick some other useless wire in that plug.

To extract the wire from a ECU plug, disconnect the plug from the ECU. Look into the side of the plug that attaches to the ECU. There is a small plastic TAB (for each individual wire) that you push towards the center of the plug to unlock the wire from the plug. Pull on the wire as you push the TAB towards the center of the plug. I use a very small jewlers screwdriver for that. The kind of jewlers screwdriver you can buy from the autostore.....Walmart etc. They come in a plastci case with five or six other small screwdrivers for ???? oh six or seven bucks.
All the wires in all the elect plugs on the car can be removed in a similar way. I said SIMILAR in that the connector is held in the plugs with a plastic tab that is part of the plug(s).

Yea i've done this on Hondas, I just went to the junkyard and cut the whole ecu connector harness from a junk car and pulled wires out of it until I figured out how to pull them out succesfully.
Then again if you have an extra junk connector you can take a razor blade and cut the plastic until you get the wire and pin out, then it should clip into the empty space on the good connector (if correctly oriented, ie; not upside down), the good thing about this is it's fast and easy. GL.

so the only way to pin 3f is to get a chopped harness plug?
Can I use the aws pin and install it in the 3f position?
I think they are the same size pin, the outer 2 pins are the big spades, and the rest in between them are the small spades if I remember. Ill check it tomorrow, if it doesnt snow that much.
I wonder if other car pins would fit.

there are probably other mazdas using those connectors or atleast wires with the same pins. Anyways, you don't have to get an extra plug, you can do like you said and take an unused wire and putting it in the position you need.

the contacts(pins) are available on the net
AMP Pulse Lock Contact 20-16 AWG Tin P/N 170353-1
AMP Pulse Lock Contact 22-20 AWG Tin P/N 170352-1
ive found most of the contacts to rebuild the ecu harness, maybe ill compile them for a thread some day
Actually, above for a S4 ecu, never had or seen an s5 ecu, maybe same contacts even if not the same housings(plastic connectors)

Yes, the AWS is another more or less useless wire and can be used. I've never seen a series five before, only series four and assumed they were all the same as is on a series four.
AWS is 3J.
And I made a mistake. The pin is there on the jack of the ECU, it's just the socket on the end of the (a) wire that is missing.
