Hey, i just bought my 86 rx-7, i was wondering if anyone knew what would be some good things to do to my seven from the start, so later on it wont be messing up. ex: injector size, spark plugs, etc. plus i was wondering what u thought of me buying a t2 transmission, theyre selling it to me for 50 bucks cuz its talking up space in my friends house, but it works good also, and would it fit on a non-turbo engine? thanks for u help.

 

you need a custom drive shaft for that unless you get the whole trany->diff setup.

 

How old are you? If this is your first car I'd say do all the maintenance stuff and enjoy the car as it is. Save up for a year or 2 and buy a T2 at that point. You'll be a better driver at that point and understand the car better as well.

the guys up at mazda trix in signal hill are going to hook me up, im getting a new engine, and about the t2 tranny, changed my mind, im just going to buy another non turbo tranny and get the miata gears up in there, also does anyone know a good site for me to learn about rotaries?
